Pulsing is recommended on and off to help break the big pieces. The pulsing should be about 20 seconds. But for a blender, you will need slightly longer pulses and may need your intervention in spreading the mushrooms using the spoon between the pulses. This ensures that the chunks are ground fully.

The next step is finding the correct storage container. Storing the powder properly helps extend the freshness of the mushroom powder. While the powder can be stored in a plastic locking or zipped bag, an airtight glass jar is recommended for maximum shelf life. The jar should be kept away from direct sunlight.
